Skin Bleaching
The
dream of every lady is to have a spotless, brightened face for every second of
their life. Hence, cosmetics cannot always work for your planned or unplanned
moment. Here comes the role of skin bleaching. The bleach is capable of
providing whitish spotless, brightened skin for a longer run. But the question
arises what could be safe bleach for
your skin. How many times shall you apply it in
a month? The following article will provide the necessary guidance for skin
bleaching:
Bleaching Basics
The
good news for the treatment of skin discoloration despite the cause is that the
bleaching basics always remain the same. The earlier bleaches contained the
single ingredient, which played the integral role of beautifying. With the
recent developments in the research fields, several new combinations have come
into the market, giving faster and more reliable results.
Hydroquinone
The
ingredient came into the fire when the risks outweighed the benefits. The major
problem occurred with its use are skin irritation, darkening, and the effect on
fetal development. Due to this reason, it is recommended to use the
hydroquinone based bleach for four to six months. You can discontinue later if
desired results are not observed.
Mitracarpus Scaber Extract
This
ingredient inhibits the action of tyrosinase, the molecule responsible for
melanin formation.
Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi Leaf
Extract
It
is commonly called as bearberry extract and performs a similar action to the
hydroquinone. But it does not form the adverse effects like hydroquinone,
hence, considered safe for use.
Dithiaoctanediol
This
ingredient is a sugar molecule, and hence, responsible for preventing the
enzymatic reaction of tyrosinase. Therefore, it prevents melanin formation.
Beta Carotene
The
carrot oil ingredient reduces the pigment formation by blocking the tyrosinase
receptors on the melanocyte.
Licorice Extract
Glabridin,
the main ingredient of the extract, can reduce pigmentation by tyrosinase
inactivation.
